The rookies for the Minnesota Vikings, including the entire 2018 draft class, have been in Eagan since Tuesday when they reported for Training Camp (along with a select few other players). On Thursday, however, they were joined by another first round draft choice.
Special thank you to the @Vikings for having me and their training camp this afternoon! World class program and I’m excited for this upcoming season. #SKOL pic.twitter.com/MLFxMVHVvD

Shooting guard Josh Okogie, who the Minnesota Timberwolves selected with the 20th overall pick in the NBA Draft, got an opportunity to stop by the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center and spend some time with the team.
Apparently he was impressed with how everyone looked, because according to NBA.com, it appears that Okogie has decided to switch his football allegiance.
“The Vikings are my new team now,” said Okogie via Vikings.com. “They had a terrific playoff run last year, which gives me even more reason to [root for] them. But I’m going to like them regardless, because it’s my new home city.”
In that article from the Vikings’ official website, Okogie said that he was a Seahawks fan, despite growing up in Georgia. But, now that Minneapolis is his new home, he’s decided that the Vikings are his new team.
Poor kid has no idea what he’s in for.
But, in any case, welcome aboard to Josh Okogie. It doesn’t matter why or how you got to the bandwagon. What matters is that you’re here now.
