Friday Open Thread: July 6th, 2018

Good Morning!

Hope you had a great 4th of July, no news if good news for the Vikings right now, still waiting on 1st round selection Mike Hughes to sign a contract. In the meantime we have our daily thread full of beer recommendations, nap strategies, crock pot and smoker recipes. Have another cup of coffee and drop by for some fan wisdom and snark. The World Cup is still going on (yes still) and followed by about twelve of us, so I’ll update that event in the comment section as appropriate today, Friday and throughout the weekend.
