Minnesota VIkings GM Rick Spielman released a statement that says:
We are aware of the situation involving Cayleb Jones and are in the process of gathering more information. Further comment will be provided at the appropriate time.
Jones was fighting for one of the last WR spots on the Vikings 53 man roster, and was already swimming upstream because he is going to begin the season suspended four games for violating the NFL’s policy on performance enhancing drugs.
I’ll be stunned if Jones is a member of the Minnesota Vikings for much longer.
Still, we’ll keep you posted on events as they develop.
