We just got word through social media that the Minnesota Vikings have released a whole bunch of players, but we’re going to highlight each of them individually here. One of the first players to be released won’t come as much of a surprise to anyone that’s paid attention recently.

The Vikings have released wide receiver Cayleb Jones. Jones has recently been involved in some legal troubles stemming from a domestic incident that Ted detailed in an earlier story here.

Jones was involved in a strange incident this offseason with his brother, Buffalo Bills wide receiver Zay Jones, and will be suspended for the first four games of the regular season due to violating the NFL’s Substance Policy.

It’s been a fairly eventful offseason for Cayleb Jones, to say the least. From the looks of it, however, he will have to continue it somewhere else, following his suspension.

The Vikings are continuing to whittle down the roster, and we will have more of the moves for you here shortly.
