Vikings Roster Cuts: Minnesota Vikings release Jonathan Wynn

And the last piece falls along the defensive line

With the deadline for the final cuts for the Minnesota Vikings (and the rest of the National Football League) officially passing at 3:00 PM Central time, we’re getting the last few transactions that the team has made, and we have one along the defensive line that isn’t surprising.

The Vikings will be parting ways with defensive end Jonathan Wynn.

Wynn signed with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Vanderbilt following the 2018 NFL Draft. Given the fact that the Vikings might have the deepest and most talented defensive line in the National Football League, Wynn was going to have an uphill battle to make the squad. Though he did have some pretty solid flashes in the preseason, it wasn’t enough for him to climb that hill in the end.

Hopefully the Vikings will finalize the 53-man roster here before too much longer and we can bring you the full list of players that made the club. Once we get it, we’ll have it here for you straight away.
