Aaron Rodgers did not practice today, which is leading many to wonder will he be ready for this Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings. Rodgers hurt his knee when the Packers faced the Chicago Bears Sunday before the end of the first half. However, Rodgers did come back in the third quarter and led the Packers to a victory with three touchdown passes. However, he was not putting much weight on his knee.
NFL.com reports that Packers head coach Mike McCarthy said that Rodgers is working with other players who are rehabbing their own injuries and wanted people to know that Rodgers “did not suffer a setback to his injured knee.” But as for practice the rest of this week is still unknown.
McCarthy also said, “He’s always responded, puts a lot of extra time in. So, we’ll see what tomorrow brings.”
But as for the Vikings, they are preparing for Rodgers to play. Head coach Mike Zimmer to Everson Griffen, they feel Rodgers will be playing this Sunday.
#Vikings coach Mike Zimmer on if he’s preparing for Aaron Rodgers to start for #Packers: “Yeah. He walks on water so I’m sure he’s gonna play.”

McCarthy also said that he is unsure if Rodgers will practice the rest of the week. Will that effect if Rodgers plays on Sunday? My guess is no. Even if Rodgers misses practice the rest of the week my money is still on McCarthy putting him in.
