Through one quarter at Lambeau Field, the Minnesota Vikings are tied with the Green Bay Packers at 7-7.
The Packers received the opening kickoff and got to about midfield before their drive stalled and they had to punt, thanks in large part to a Sheldon Richardson sack. The Vikings took over at their own seven, made a first down, then shot themselves in the foot with a penalty and a sack. When the Vikings punted, Matt Wiles’ kick was blocked and recovered by Josh Jackson for a touchdown and a 7-0 Green Bay lead.
Minnesota answered though. After a big return on the ensuing kick, Laquon Treadwell scored his first NFL touchdown on a 14 yard reception from Kirk Cousins.
As we open the second quarter, The Packers have the ball near midfield and are putting a drive together.
