Through two quarters in Green Bay, our beloved purple are trailing the hated Green Bay Packers 17—7.

After the Vikings tied it up on Laquon Treadwell’s first career TD, Green Bay went down the field, with the Vikings defense providing little resistance. Aaron Rodgers kept the drive alive with a nine yard scramble on third down, and Rodgers found Davante Adams on a nine yard TD pass to end the drive.

Towards the end of the quarter, the Vikings finally got something going, but the drive stalled out and Daniel Carlson badly missed a 48 yard field goal. Green Bay was able to capitalize. Aided by a questionable roughing the passer call on Eric Kendricks, Mason Crosby kicked a 37 yard field goal as time expired to end the half.

The Vikings will get the ball to start the second half, and desperately need to get something going early on both sides of the ball.
