Buffalo Bills at Minnesota Vikings: Inactive Lists for both teams

Who will be sitting this one out?

NFL: Minnesota Vikings at Green Bay Packers Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

We are ninety minutes away from game time at U.S. Bank Stadium between the Minnesota Vikings and the Buffalo Bills. Both teams have now released their inactive lists for today’s contest, so let’s take a look at who will be sitting this one out, starting with the visiting team.

Buffalo Bills

  • OL Ike Boettger
  • CB Phillip Gaines
  • DE Shaq Lawson
  • RB LeSean McCoy
  • OT Conor McDermott
  • OL Wyatt Teller
  • TE Logan Thomas

As we spoke about last night, McCoy is not going to be suiting up for this one with his cracked rib cartilage. Lawson was declared out earlier in the week, while Gaines was listed as questionable. Other than that, no huge surprises for the Bills in this one.

Now, we move on to the home team.

Minnesota Vikings

  • RB Dalvin Cook
  • DE Everson Griffen
  • DT Jalyn Holmes
  • TE David Morgan
  • CB Marcus Sherels
  • QB Kyle Sloter
  • G Bryan Witzmann

The Vikings didn’t have a lot of drama with their inactives this week, as they declared four players out earlier on. Latavius Murray will get the start in place of Cook, while Stephen Weatherly will be in the starting lineup in place of Griffen. No other real surprises for the Vikings as far as their inactive list is concerned.

We will have the Open Thread for the first quarter up and running at the top of the 11:00 AM Central time hour, ladies and gentlemen, so keep your eyes open for that.
