Well, ladies and gentlemen, after the events of the past couple of days it seems a little weird to be talking about football, but talk about it we must. The Minnesota Vikings are preparing for their lone Thursday night contest of the year, as they will be making a trip out to the West Coast to take on what might be the NFL’s best team in the Los Angeles Rams.
We all know what happened to the Vikings on Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium. Favored by a whole lot of points, they went out and looked amazingly terrible, getting trounced 27-6 by a Buffalo Bills team that had been looked upon as one of the league’s worst. Combine that with a tie the previous week against Green Bay, and a Vikings team that was considered to be a Super Bowl favorite now sits at 1-1-1 with two very tough road games coming up.
The Rams have had no such problems. They’ve gotten themselves off to a 3-0 start, and have won all three of their games by double-digit margins. Their offense is averaging 34 points a game, and the defense that they added a lot of players during the offseason has been as advertised as well. They could be without both starting cornerbacks on Thursday night, but can the Vikings take advantage?
This one will be on FOX and the NFL Network on Thursday night, as well as on Amazon Prime. We’ll have all of our stories about this week’s game here in one place for you.
