Good Evening!

We’ve got the second Conference Championship for today setup with a thread for everyone’s commenting pleasure this afternoon with the Patriots traveling to Kansas City to play the Chiefs, the winner gets the right to play represent the AFC in the Super Bowl.

Today’s game will kickoff at 5:40pm Central time with the AFC West Division Champion Kansas City Chiefs hosting the AFC East Division Champion New England Patriots.

The Kansas City Chiefs SB Nation site: Arrowhead Pride.

The New England Patriots SB Nation site: Pats Pulpit.

Why I’ll watch:

Everyone is saying Tom Brady is over the hill, I don’t believe it.

I’d like to see an Andy Reid coached team win the Super Bowl.

If you’re going to be watching today’s game anyway, you could just as well come and hang out with your fellow Vikings fans while you do so.

Also, GIF’s are welcome in this game thread, however within the rules as usual.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-This isn’t a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waitress, try the venison chili and as always, Welcome Aboard
