The Minnesota Vikings released their final injury report a little while ago, and for almost seven weeks into the season, they are one of the healthiest teams in the NFL:
OUT: Ben Gedeon
QUESTIONABLE: Kentrell Brothers
That’s it. That’s the injury report.
The good news, besides so few injuries, is that both starting offensive linemen who were on the injury report earlier this week, Riley Reiff and Josh Kline, were full participants and should play Sunday. I’m mildly surprised about Reiff, as he was limited yesterday, but it will be good to have the opening day line back and healthy for the Lions game.
With Gedeon out, expect Eric Wilson to step into the weakside spot, with Cameron Smith being Wilson’s backup, kind of like we saw last week against the Eagles.
I gotta say, you can’t ask for a much better injury report than this, let’s hope it lasts.
