Minnesota Vikings Game Ball: Week 4

New, comments

Hahahahahahaha no.

NFL: Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears Quinn Harris-USA TODAY Sports

This is usually the part of the week where I would talk about who gets the “Game Ball” for the Minnesota Vikings based on their performance this past week.

But not this week.

After watching this team put up six points in what was as close to a “must-win” game as a Week 4 contest can be and get absolutely worked by a backup quarterback, I’m personally not compelled to give a Game Ball to anybody. I mean, seriously, who actually deserves it on this team after that game?

And no, I don’t care if the Bears’ backup is better than their starter. . .and he probably is. There’s still no excuse for getting whooped by Chase freaking Daniel in that situation if you’re a contending football team.

So, in lieu of that, I’m going to open up the floor for you, the readers, to put forth who you might feel worthy of a Game Ball for the Week 4 game in Chicago. I’ll go through the comments later on, and when we give out the Game Ball for Week 5. . .hopefully to someone that stood out in a positive way. . .I’ll add their name to the list.

It can be serious, it can be hilarious, but since I can’t think of any decent options for a Game Ball for Week 4 for the purple, I’ll leave it up to all of you to make the decision.

With that, have at it, ladies and gentlemen.
