We’ve put three quarters in the books at Ford Field, and your Minnesota Vikings lead the Detroit Lions by a score of 28-24.
The Vikings took the second half kickoff and marched down the field, moving 75 yards in 12 plays, capping things off with another player’s first NFL touchdown reception. Olabisi Johnson got his first NFL score in the second quarter, and Cousins found C.J. Ham for his first NFL receiving score, a five-yard reception to give Minnesota back the lead at 28-21.

The Lions’ offense started with a three-and-out, giving the Vikings the ball back in rapid fashion. Unfortunately, the Vikings responded with their first three-and-out of the day. Detroit scored on their next possession, as Matt Prater connected on a 46-yard field goal attempt to cut the Minnesota lead to 28-24.
As we move to the fourth quarter, the Vikings are back into Detroit territory at the 46-yard line, looking at a 1st-and-10.
Fifteen minutes remaining in this one, folks, and the good guys lead by four points at 28-24. Can they hold on and push their winning streak to three?
