I started work again last night, what’s new around here....looks at Vikings Twitter and yesterday’s thread....and ducks. Since I get to write words up here (that no one reads) here’s my two cents on the Stefon Diggs “situation.” He’s frustrated with the offense, I get it. So is everyone. Between him, Thelein, Rudy, Smith Jr. and Cook the Vikings should be scoring more points per game than they currently are. I can see the limitations provided by the offensive line as well as anyone else, but still both the losses this year could have been wins with one or two more scoring drives. Today’s lead picture is one of Stefon Diggs playing catch with kids during the pre-game, something I saw him do at the Jaguars-Vikings game in 2016. Meanwhile, let’s carry on with our news and links open thread full of beer recommendations, nap strategies, crock pot and smoker recipes. Drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and have a long lunch and leave work early, what the heck, it’s Friday!

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waiter, don’t spread rumors and Welcome Aboard!
