We’ve completed one quarter of play from East Rutherford, and the Minnesota Vikings lead the New York Giants by a score of 3-0.
For just the second time this season, the Vikings’ offense took the field first, and the drive resulted in points. Minnesota moved the ball well, getting down to the Giants’ 13-yard line, but Kirk Cousins was sacked by R.J. McIntosh to stall the drive. Dan Bailey connected on a 31-yard field goal, and the Vikings took an early 3-0 lead.
The Giants attempted to answer, but wound up having to punt the ball away, with the Vikings taking over at their own 2-yard line. Minnesota has put together a very impressive drive since then, and as we move to the second quarter of play, the Vikings are looking at 3rd-and-4 from the New York 15-yard line.
We’ve got fifteen minutes in the books from MetLife Stadium, and the Minnesota Vikings lead the New York Giants by a score of 3-0. Come on in and join us for the second quarter of play, everyone!
