Who will be sidelined for this one?

We are approximately ninety minutes away from kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium between the Denver Broncos and your Minnesota Vikings, and both teams have transmitted their inactive lists for this week’s game. Let’s see who will be sitting this one out for both sides.

As always, we start with the visiting team.

Denver Broncos

  • CB Bryce Callahan
  • DL Jonathan Harris
  • TE Jeff Heuerman
  • OT Ja’Wuan James
  • CB Cyrus Jones
  • DE Demarcus Walker
  • WR Juwann Winfree

Callahan was the only player that the Broncos had ruled out for this one, and Heuerman and James were both listed as doubtful, so their absence doesn’t come as any surprise. Nothing else of not on the Broncos’ inactive list as far as I can see.

And now, on to the home team.

Minnesota Vikings

  • S Anthony Harris
  • DT Linval Joseph
  • G Josh Kline
  • DT Hercules Mata’afa
  • G Dru Samia
  • WR Adam Thielen
  • OT Olisaemeka Udoh

As we’ve reported throughout the week, the Vikings are down four starters going into this contest, two on each side of the ball. Only Harris comes as a bit of a surprise, but hopefully being off for this one and then having a bye week will ensure that they’re ready for the season’s final stretch.

Aviante Collins, who was just brought up from the practice squad on Friday, is active. Andrew Sendejo is also active for the first time since his return to the Vikings and could see some snaps in Harris’ place. Josh Doctson, who returned from IR earlier this week, is active today as well.

Those are your inactive lists for this afternoon’s contest, ladies and gentlemen. We’ll have the Open Thread for the first quarter of action ready for you at 11:00 AM Central time.
