Vikings Bye Week - A GMG Special Part 1

We at Good Morning Gjallarhorn are celebrating the bye week with a special two part show where the fearless leader of the Daily Norseman joins us for laughs as we talk the state of the Vikings.

Vikings Bye Week… Good morning Horners! Your Minnesota Vikings are on their bye week, and as Ted said, he “hopes they are getting away from football, to come back rested and ready for the stretch.” It is a good time for the team to get healthy from the hamstring injuries to Adam Thielen and Harrison Smith, to Linval Joseph. It is time for the coaching staff to figure out ways to maximize production here on out, not come out flat, score more points, and play better defense. That is what a bye week is for, and that is why Good morning Gjallarhorn has the Daily Norseman’s very own, Christopher Gates as a special guest.

Chris joined Ted, Drew and Dave to talk the state of the Vikings. Mentioning the defensive secondary issues with Xavier Rhodes looking old and Trae Waynes being Trae Waynes. Discussions of how good Kirk Cousins has been, and the offensive is from the improvement in the O-line to the some of the best weapons in the league being Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen, Dalvin Cook, Kyle Rudolph and the young Irv Smith Jr.

On part 1 of the show, there is lots of laughs. Drew came up with another game that will have you yelling the answers much as Ted and Chris did. All this why we celebrate the bye.

The Vikings are 8-3 and the drive into the playoffs are on the horizon. There is plenty to smile about, so do. Be safe and GO VIKINGS!
