The Minnesota Vikings have said hello to an old friend earlier today, as Andrew Sendejo has been claimed off waivers after being released by the Philadelphia Eagles. It was first reported by Friend of the Norseman Tom Pelissero:
The #Vikings claimed veteran safety Andrew Sendejo off waivers from the #Eagles, source said. A reunion.

To make room on the roster, the Vikings released S Marcus Epps. Not sure who reported that first, but Pelissero linked his tweets, so yeah this was the easiest so if someone else broke it first, don’t email or DM me all mad or anything...I’m just lazy. But I am blogging this from my very own living room, and not my Mom’s basement:
To make room on the roster, the #Vikings informed rookie safety Marcus Epps they’re waiving him, source said. They’d like to bring back Epps on the practice squad — if he clears.

With the Vikings re-signing LB Cameron Smith yesterday, the practice squad is full, so if Epps does return, as Tom P hinted at, someone else would be out of a job.
With Sendejo back wearing Herschel Walker’s old number, presumably, he’ll be Anthony Harris’ backup, which could be awkward since, you know, Harris used to be his backup.
But once Sendejo takes out one of the other DB’s with his ‘let’s just hit someone and if I kill a teammate lol too bad’ mentality, he’ll be back in the starting lineup in no time.
