After having their four-game winning streak snapped this past Sunday, the Minnesota Vikings will hope to get back on the winning track in their first Sunday Night Football contest of the year, as they will travel to Jerryworld to take on the Dallas Cowboys.
The Vikings are 6-3 and still trail the Green Bay Packers by a game in the NFC North division race, while the Cowboys currently sit at 5-3, atop the NFC East. Both of these teams would be in the playoffs if the season ended today.
It’s quite possible that the Vikings will be without star receiver Adam Thielen for this one. Thielen attempted to come back last week and, though he didn’t make his hamstring injury any worse, only played seven snaps because he said he didn’t feel right. His status is something that we’ll be monitoring all week.
As we mentioned, this game will be the featured Sunday Night Football contest of the week, which means it will be aired on NBC with kickoff scheduled for 7:20 PM Central time.
