It’s weekend eve with all signs pointing to go for the return of Adam Thielen from injury. I’ve previously said in the comments section I’d prefer he either sat this one out or a had limited role due to the Vikings playing on grass this weekend and with two divisional games coming up to end the regular season. Also, “Go Bears” this weekend, one time only. Meanwhile, let’s carry on with our news and links open thread full of beer recommendations, nap strategies, crock pot and smoker recipes. Drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and it’s Friday, why not take half a day off and spend it with the family.

-Leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
