Good Morning!

How’s your weekend going? I’ll have a full two days of work today and Sunday but I’ll be keeping up with the Daily Norseman and the game via laptop and iPad. The weather looks good for the game if you’re going, hopefully we’ll get a huge Vikings fansbase representation. Consistent with the weekend thread, I highlighted this weeks opponents’ SB Nation site, but unfortunately they don’t look as active as we are, so we can continue talking smack about our NFC North opposition. Again, “Go Bears” on Sunday, one time only. Meanwhile, let’s carry on with our news and links open thread full of beer recommendations, nap strategies, crock pot and smoker recipes. Drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and it’s Saturday, it’s your day of rest, so enjoy it.

We come to today’s media selection: Joe Walsh - Life’s Been Good
(By Request of Gone Fishin)

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waiter, and Welcome Aboard!

The discussion of extending Kirk Cousins, although seemingly farfected last year and during the early part of this season is beginning in earnest here and other parts of the internet. What’s your threshold to extend Cousins this offseason?
