It’s the final road trip of the 2019 regular season for your Minnesota Vikings, as they will be heading out to the West Coast once again to take on their final AFC opponent for the year, the Los Angeles Chargers. This game was originally slated to take place on Sunday Night Football, but has been flexed into the late afternoon window instead.
The Vikings, coming off of their win over the Detroit Lions, currently sit with a record of 9-4 and occupy the sixth and final spot in the NFC playoff field. The Los Angeles Rams sit just one spot behind them in that race, so it is imperative that the Vikings continue to take care of business.
The Chargers have been one of the more disappointing teams in the NFL this year. Coming off of a 12-4 season and a trip to the AFC Divisional Playoffs last year, they currently sit at 5-8 and were officially eliminated from playoff contention this past Sunday. However, they can still be dangerous, as their 45-10 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars this past Sunday shows.
This game will now be televised on the CBS family of networks, with kickoff scheduled for 3:05 PM Central time.
