AAF Week 4 Schedule and Discussion

The Stallions return to prime time this week

Rather than doing two separate posts each weekend, we’ll just put our AAF schedule and discussion stuff in the same place.

Though this weekend’s action will likely be overshadowed by the Scouting Combine, we are once again on the precipice of another weekend of action in the Alliance of American Football. We’ve got four more games this weekend for everyone’s viewing and discussion pleasure.

Our adopted team, the Salt Lake Stallions, finally cracked the win column last weekend. Not coincidentally, they finally got to play a game at home, and they took down the previously undefeated Arizona Hotshots by a final score of 23-15. Things won’t get any easier for them this weekend, as they’ll take on another undefeated team. On Saturday, they’ll host the undefeated Orlando Apollos, led by former Minnesota Vikings receiver Charles Johnson, at Rice-Eccles Stadium.

Things might get a little sloppy in this one, as temperatures at kickoff will be in the 40-degree range, and our friends at WeatherNation are forecasting a “wintry mix” of precipitation all day long in the Salt Lake City area. Kickoff for this one is set for 7:00 PM Central on Saturday, and the game will be shown on the NFL Network.

Here’s the rest of this weekend’s schedule:

Saturday early game (3:00 PM Central) - San Diego Fleet (2-1) at Memphis Express (0-3) - Game will be shown on B/R Live

Sunday early game (3:00 PM Central) - San Antonio Commanders (1-2) at Birmingham Iron (3-0) - Game will be shown on CBS Sports Network

Sunday late game (7:00 PM Central) - Atlanta Legends (0-3) at Arizona Hotshots (2-1) - Game will be shown on the NFL Network.

That’s what we’ve got for Week 3 in the AAF, ladies and gentlemen. If you want to discuss the action, you can do so right here all weekend long!
