Minnesota Vikings News and Links: March 21st, 2019

Thorsday Open Thread

NFL: Seattle Seahawks at Minnesota Vikings Brad Rempel-USA TODAY Sports

Good Morning!

Normally in the words up here that no one reads I throw something together about my job; I’m starting my seven on again so words and links will get shortened depending on what time I get home and how exhausted I am. However today will be a little different. As some of you might realize I have an affinity for fringe players, the underdog guys who either were UDFA’s or late round picks that play special teams in addition to being a backup for their offensive or defensive position. Thus today’s picture and media selection of Kyle Sloter. I think this is the year he either gets the backup job or gets cut so he can compete with another team. Time to carry on with our news and links open thread full of beer recommendations, nap strategies, crock pot and smoker recipes. Drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and have another mock draft.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-This isn’t a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waitress, try the free coffee and as always, Welcome Aboard!
