Hey, everyone. My apologies for not getting the Mock Draft Database out yesterday like I usually do. For whatever reason, I was just not feeling it yesterday, and there were some other real world things I needed to get done, so that’s the reason for the delay.

The delay is over, though, as we are back with the second-to-last installment of the Mock Draft Database for this year. We are now up to our maximum capacity of 100 mock drafts, and we’ve weeded out a lot of the older mocks. The oldest mock in the Database for this week is dated 20 March, so just about everything has been updated within about the last three weeks or so. That should provide a much fresher look at things as we now sit just a week and a half away from the 2019 NFL Draft.

So, without any further ado, here are the 100 mocks that make up our Database for this week and what their projections are for the Minnesota Vikings.

After seeing their share of the overall total of first round selections decrease in recent weeks, the offensive linemen have increased their share in this week’s update. Of the 100 mocks we have in our Database this week, a full 86 of them are projecting the Vikings to select an offensive lineman in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.

(We won’t be posting percentages after each player this week since there are 100 mocks and, therefore, percentages are pretty self-explanatory.)

Oklahoma offensive lineman Cody Ford continues to lead the way in our Database, but despite adding ten more mocks this week, Ford has the same number of selections he had last week, holding steady at 31. Alabama offensive tackle Jonah Williams held on to second place this week, as he is now up to 18 selections. Williams, however, is starting to get a significant challenge for that #2 spot, as Washington State tackle Andre Dillard made a big jump this week. Dillard appears 15 times in this week’s update, nearly doubling his support from last week.

Boston College guard Chris Lindstrom and North Carolina State center Garrett Bradbury are tied with six picks apiece in this week’s update. Behind them, there’s another tie between Kansas State guard Dalton Risner and Mississippi tackle Greg Little, each of whom appear three times in this update. Florida tackle Jawaan Taylor sees his name pop up twice this week, while Texas A&M center Erik McCoy and Washington tackle Kaleb McGary round out our offensive line contingent with one selection each.

That leaves just 14 selections to go around for the rest of the group this week, and the second-highest tally comes from the tight end position. Iowa tight ends T.J. Hockenson and Noah Fant each appear three times this week, which is a slight drop from last week when they combined for seven selections.

Defensive linemen find themselves in the third spot this week with four picks. Actually, it would be more accurate to say that Clemson defensive tackle Christian Wilkins finds himself in third place, as he’s now the only defensive lineman that appears on our list. He was tabbed four times by the various mock drafters in this week’s update. Houston defensive tackle Ed Oliver, who disappeared from our Database once before and then reappeared, dropped out again this week. Mississippi State defensive tackle Jeffrey Simmons fell out of the Database this week as well.

Linebackers and defensive backs round things out this week with two selections each. Both positions are carried by one player, as Michigan linebacker Devin Bush and Washington cornerback Byron Murphy are the lone representatives at their respective positions.

With that, here are the graphic updates for this week, starting with the Donut Graph that summarizes this week’s selections. There are currently 15 players that are projected to go to the Vikings with the 18th overall pick. Click on the picture to embiggen for easier viewing.

In addition, we have the “Jell-o salad” graph to represent how players have gone up and down in their share of the first round picks over the last eight weeks. Over that time, there have been 22 different players projected to go to the Vikings by various mock drafters. You can click to embiggen this one as well.

That’s our Mock Draft Database update for this week, folks! We’ll be back with the final installment of this year’s Database next weekend, though it might get delayed until Monday because of work scheduling and things of that nature. Whenever it comes out, we will have one more update for you before the actual NFL Draft takes place on 25 April.
