The Minnesota Vikings have made another trade in the 2019 NFL Draft, this time swinging a deal with the reigning World Champions, the New England Patriots.
The Vikings traded down three spots, sending pick #159 to the Patriots. In exchange, the Vikings receive Pick #162 from New England, and an additional seventh-round selection, #239 overall.
The Patriots then used the selection they got from the Vikings to select Byron Cowart, a defensive tackle from Maryland.
So, the Vikings get their hands on yet another seventh-round selection to move down just three spots. They didn’t drop down too far, and they’ll be on the clock. . .again. . .momentarily.
Unless Rick Spielman decides to make yet another trade, which as we’ve seen over the course of the past couple of days, is a distinct possibility.
In any event, keep it tuned right here and we’ll have all the news on what the Minnesota Vikings are doing on Day 3 of the 2019 NFL Draft right here for your reading and reacting pleasure!
