Good Morning!

Hope your weekend is off to a great start, even though this is my weekend to work it’s going to be great as we’ll finally have meaningful Vikings stuff to argue talk about with the draft coming this week and no less importantly the Game of Thrones final season starts next Sunday. About the paywall miscue the other day, those responsible have been sacked, and due to further paywall misadventures those responsible for the sacking have been sacked. Yesterday was the 25th anniversary of the death of Kurt Cobain, thus this weekend’s music selection. Meanwhile we’ll catch up on our NFC North opponents and then carry on with our news and links thread full of beer recommendations, nap strategies, crock pot and smoker recipes. Fire up the mock drafts and drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and try a beer from Remedy Brewing Company.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waiter, try not to annoy him and and as always, Welcome Aboard!

How do you think the announced suspension of Holton Hill and the rumors of a Trae Waynes trade will affect the Vikings draft strategy?

No effect as the team hasn’t traded Waynes and isn’t likely to.

The situation for Hill is different, his suspension is likely to be reduced and doesn’t affect the draft strategy.

With Hughes coming off injury and Hill still a question mark, a mid round CB pick should be sufficient.

Hill is a liability, it might change draft priorities to take a CB in rounds 1-3.
