A lot of NFL players have hobbies or other pursuits that we generally don’t know a whole lot about. Today, I’ve learned about one such member of the Minnesota Vikings that has such a pursuit, and we can actually give him a hand with this.
Tight end David Morgan is one of the finalists in a “Man Model” contest for a clothing line called Chubbies. The contest apparently started out with around 12,000 entries, and Morgan has made his way into the Top 20. Now, the voting for the top ten spots is underway, and we want to give #89 a hand in getting to the top of the list. . .as, at the present time, he appears to be lagging behind a lot of the competition.
In order to vote for Morgan, all you need to do is head to the linked page there for the Chubbies website, find Morgan’s picture, and hit the little heart button underneath it. That’s it. As far as I can tell, you don’t need to sign up for any sort of mailing lists or anything like that, but you can share a link to the voting page on various forms of social media.
According to the contest rules, the top ten finishers will each receive a two-year modeling contract and a bunch of credit from the company for years down the track.
It’s also worth noting, as Kyle Rudolph did when passing this news along (and his tweet is where I first saw this), that Morgan has cut his trademark long hair. I don’t know if that’s a news story in and of itself, but there you go.
So, what do you say, folks? Can we get David Morgan to the top of the list in this competition and help him fulfill his modeling dreams?
