Good Morning!

It’s Monday, the greatest work day according to Gone Fishin. Speaking of Fishin, he’s still swamped with his work thingy so I’ll continue posting the thread for the time being. News of our favorite team is getting limited, if you see something of interest concerning the Vikings that I overlooked please post it in the comments. Today’s poll idea came from a Fanpost by Mr. Obvious, thanks to him. Meanwhile we’ll carry on with our news and links open thread full of beer recommendations, nap strategies, crock pot and smoker recipes. Drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and go ahead and have another espresso, it’s Monday.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

Chris reports Harrisburg, Pennsylvania names street after former Vikings HC Dennis Green.

Chad Beebe singled out by Gary Kubiak for offseason progress.

Could Harrison Smith be the next Viking that’s up for a contract extension?

Vikings news from other sources:

From Vikings.com RB Dalvin Cook was wired for sound during an OTA practice last week.

Top ten takeaways from the Vikings offseason program.

On this final edition of the Wobcast, Wobby and Chris Corso bring their takeaways from the Vikings offseason program, running back Ameer Abdullah joins the show and the new version of the Minnesota Vikings Podcast is introduced.

Speaking of Wobby he opened up his pick 6 mailbag to addresses fan comments and questions, including looking at the tight end depth chart, which rookies have a chance to shine in 2019, the dynamic between Garrett Bradbury and Pat Elflein at guard and center, and more.

Matthew Coller at SkorNorth.com ponders what is the ceiling for Dalvin Cook?

League news:

Julio Jones among top five NFL players who SHOULD get paid.

Memorable NFL stadium farewells: Patriots, Chiefs lead top 10.

Inside the short, unhappy life of the Alliance of American Football from ESPN.

We come to today’s media selection AC/DC - You Shook Me All Night Long

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-This isn’t a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waiter, try the offseason and Welcome Aboard!
