Who is your current favorite Minnesota Vikings player?

Let’s hear who you’ve got

With things being a bit dead for the time being, it’s time for a good, old fashioned question and answer that everyone can get involved in and get ourselves excited for the upcoming NFL season about.

The question is a simply one:

Who is your current favorite Minnesota Vikings player?

As you can probably guess from the picture above, I’m personally going to give the spotlight to the big man. . .the hungry man. . .#98 in your program but #1 in your heart. . .defensive tackle Linval Joseph.

The defense for the Minnesota Vikings has a lot of big names on it. . .Harrison Smith, Anthony Barr, Danielle Hunter, Everson Griffen, and so forth. But if one of the most talented guys on that side of the ball can be an “unsung” player, I think it’s big Linval. While he has shown some propensity for getting after the quarterback in recent seasons, his primary job is to force guys to pay attention to him so that other guys are free to do their jobs. Anthony Barr and Eric Kendricks are able to do a decent part of what they do because of Linval Joseph’s work.

Oh. . .and, as he showed last season, he’s capable of turning on the jets when it’s required.

The Vikings have a lot of great players, but as things stand right now, I’d have to put Linval Joseph at the top of the list as my current favorite member of the team.

Who have you got, folks?
