If you’ve been waiting for your opportunity to get your hands on tickets for the 2019 Minnesota Vikings season, the time is nearly upon us.
The team has announced that single-game tickets will go on sale this coming Thursday, 18 July, at 10 AM Central time. The lowest-priced tickets from preseason games come on at $20, and you can get in the door for regular season games for as little as $62.
It’s important to note that these tickets will only be available online via Ticketmaster. (That link will take you to the schedule, and you can click on each individual game for tickets to that contest.) There will be no sales done via box office or by telephone, and ticket sales are credit card only.
If you are a Vikings Rewards member, there will be a pre-sale opportunity, though the article on the team’s website doesn’t specify when that will happen. If you’re not a Vikings Rewards member and would like to get in on that, you can sign up at www.myvikingsrewards.com.
(UPDATE: Rob informs us in the comments that the Rewards pre-sale starts at 10 AM Central on Wednesday. He also politely asks that nobody logs on until he does.)
It’s also important for fans to remember that, last season, the Vikings went to all-digital tickets. You will be able to manage your tickets through the Vikings’ official app.
If you want to get your hands on Vikings’ tickets for this season, you’re probably going to have to be pretty quick on the trigger. The team has announced that 99% of last year’s season ticket holders renewed for 2019, so there aren’t going to be a heck of a lot of tickets available.
Are any of you folks out there planning on getting some single-game tickets? Which game or games are you hoping to attend?
