Sorry this is a tad late, computer issues

NFL: NFC Divisional Playoff-New Orleans Saints at Minnesota Vikings Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

Merry Monday, everyone!

Hey, sorry this is late. I planned to put it up last night, but my computer said it needed to update. So, I clicked ‘update now’. It just finished updating 15 minutes ago. Anyway, I’ll get this posted, then I’ll add links. Refresh in 10 minutes or so and links will magically appear for you.

Around the DN since our last open thread:

Got your ‘refresh’ finger warmed up? Vikings single game tickets will go on sale this Thursday.

Some have said about our O-line, ‘Well, it can’t get any worse’. WRONG!!!! Ha ha, we’re not dead last, per PFF rankings shared by Chris. Now you’ll have to change the saying to ‘well, it can’t get much worse’, or something like that.

Chris created a page for all of our Vikings podcasts.

Other NFL news, other sports news, and random oddities and annoyances:

From the Washington Post, the NFL has opened a football academy in London.

CBS Sports ranks the top 10 NFL coaches. I.......don’t agree with some of these, but nobody asked my opinion.

From Yahoo Sports, Peter King stated that NFL fans don’t want an 18-game season. Neither do I. I’m guessing the players’ bodies don’t really want it, either. We’ll see whether revenue trumps player safety.

We come to our media selection:

I gotta get going, so here’s a classic. One of my son’s favorites, ‘dad, play that crazy man again’. Here you go, enjoy!

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:

-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags\
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away\
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.

With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t tip the cows, and try to quit making a mess, I’m not your maid.
