With all players reporting to Eagan, training camp is fully underway for the Minnesota Vikings. At the outset of practice, they made several moves regarding injured players, the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list, and the Non-Football Injury (NFI) list:
The #Vikings have announced the following roster moves:

The move with Mike Hughes isn’t much of a surprise. He tore his ACL in week 6 of last year, and has been rehabbing ever since. David Morgan had an off-season procedure on his knee, and should be fine relatively soon, I would imagine. As to the injuries to Brandon Zylstra, Tashawn Bower, and Shamar Stephen, we’ll wait to hear from the Vikings as to what the reasons are, and hopefully they’ll provide us with a timetable for everyone’s return.
Fearless Prediction That Should Have Been A Bingo Card Space: Mike Zimmer will say ‘it’ll be a few days’ for everyone.
For Zylstra, this could set him back in his quest to grab the WR3 receiver spot as camp opens. It looks to be a wide open competition, and any time off could really give someone else an opening to get the inside track for the job. Assuming, of course, this really isn’t a breakout year for Laquon Treadwell, amirite?
Mike Zimmer is scheduled to address the media after the morning practice, so hopefully we’ll have an update then.
Update—Looks like a hammy for Zylstra:
It’s a left hamstring issue for Zylstra, I’m told. Morgan still unable to practice after missing spring. Had dealt with knee injury end of last season.

And Chad Beebe is WR3 with the first team so far:
