Could the Vikings trade Laquon Treadwell to the Giants?

It sounds like there’s some interest

Word is that the Vikings have been shopping Laquon Treadwell, and there may be at least one team with some interest in trading for him: the New York Football Giants.

Matt Lombardo at nj.com is reporting that the Giants may have some interest in acquiring Treadwell - perhaps for a 6th or 7th round pick.

The Giants traded Odell Beckham Jr. this off-season, and have suffered some injuries to their receiver corps, in addition to Golden Tate being suspended for the first four games of the 2019 season for a violation of the league’s Performance Enhancing Drug policy. That creates some need for the Giants to bolster their roster at wide receiver, and Treadwell is familiar to Giants head coach Pat Shurmur, who worked with him in his years with the Vikings.

We’ll have to wait and see if anything comes of the rumor, but this potential change of scenery for Treadwell would likely benefit both the Vikings and the Giants.
