Close, Personal Friend of The Daily Norseman Tom Pelissero™ is reporting that the Vikings are trading guard Danny Isidora to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a seventh-round draft pick.
Isidora, a Miami native who played his college ball at “The U,” was a fifth-round selection of the Vikings in the 2017 NFL Draft. He has appeared in 21 games over the past two seasons for the Vikings, including three starts at the guard position.
It didn’t appear as though Isidora was going to make the roster, as players like rookie Dru Samia are more attractive options for the Vikings to keep going forward. So, the Vikings have managed to get a draft asset for a player that they, more than likely, weren’t going to keep around.
We’ve got a long ways to go before we get down to the final 53-man roster for the Vikings, and we’ll be tracking all of the moves for you right here.
