Storm Norton released; Oli Udoh makes the team

When Aviante Collins was released earlier today, it felt like that might be good news for Storm Norton. It wasn’t:

But, I thought it might have been a positive development for Oli Udoh, and turns out it was. He has made the 53 man roster:

The thought on Udoh was that if the Vikings released him, the they would want him on the practice squad, the chances of him making it back onto the Vikings would be slim. Apparently, that’s what the Vikings thought, too, and they took a chance on the long term potential on Udoh over Collins and Norton.

So, Udoh is in, and Norton is out. Still a lot more news coming, so stay tuned.
