Dalvin Cook wins FedEx Ground Player of the Week for Week 2!

As if there was any doubt

In what should come as no surprise, Minnesota Vikings’ running back Dalvin Cook won the award he missed out on in Week 1, as he was named the FedEx Ground Player of the Week for Week 2 of the 2019 NFL season.

Cook won the award with his 154-yard performance against Green Bay, which included a big 75-yard touchdown for the Vikings’ first points of the afternoon.

To win the award, Cook defeated Green Bay running back Aaron Jones and Dallas running back Ezekiel Elliott, neither of whom were even close to being as good as Cook was in Week 2. I mean, obviously.

Because he won the award, FedEx will be donating $2,000 in Cook’s name to the USO.

If Cook keeps running the way he has been so far this season, it won’t be the last time he wins this award in 2019.

Congratulations to Dalvin Cook on being named the FedEx Ground Player of the Week for Week 2!
