We are now ninety minutes away from the start of the festivities in Santa Clara, where the San Francisco 49ers and your Minnesota Vikings will clash in the first game of the 2019 NFL Divisional Playoffs. Both teams have released their inactive lists for today’s game, so let’s take a look at who will be sitting this one out.

As always, we start with the visiting team.

Minnesota Vikings

  • OT Aviante Collins
  • WR Alexander Hollins
  • S Jayron Kearse
  • DT Hercules Mata’afa
  • G Dru Samia
  • OT Olisaemeka Udoh
  • DE Eddie Yarbrough

Adam Thielen, who had been listed as questionable with an ankle injury, is active and will start. I think we all pretty much expected that, but it’s nice that it’s now official. No other surprises for the Vikings on today’s inactive list.

And now, on to the home team.

San Francisco 49ers

  • CB Azeez Al-Shaair
  • QB C.J. Beathard
  • DL Kevin Givens
  • TE Daniel Helm
  • CB Dontae Johnson
  • WR Jordan Matthews
  • RB Jeff Wilson

The Niners added a couple of significant pieces to their defense in defensive end Dee Ford and linebacker Kwon Alexander. Both of them have missed significant time this season with injuries, but they are both back and active today. Just another obstacle for the Minnesota offense to overcome.

Those are your inactive lists for the Vikings and the 49ers as we get closer to kickoff, ladies and gentlemen. We’ll have our Open Thread for the first quarter of play up and ready to go at around 2:30 PM Central time.
