Good Morning!

Well that was an odd season wasn’t it? I never felt like the Vikings made the move from good to a great team. I’ve read a lot of words and thoughts regarding the Vikings this offseason, and I’ve waffled several times about what I think they should do but I think I’ve settled on “it’s time to blow this current roster up, trade and/or cut players for draft capital and/or cap relief, suck next year then move up in the draft for a rookie QB. I don’t think this current Vikings roster is capable of a legit Super Bowl run. I realize this is an incredibly unpopular opinion, but it’s mine and mine alone. Meanwhile, let’s carry on with our news and links open thread full of beer recommendations, nap strategies, crock pot and smoker recipes. Drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and since it’s the offseason time to get busy on all those projects you ignored during the season.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waiter, and Welcome Aboard!

Poll

Besides Kirk Cousins (who has a no trade clause) is there anyone on the current roster you consider untradeable? For instance, if the Vikings could get two 1st round draft picks for Danielle Hunter would you make that trade?

Yes, I’d make that trade even if it was for a future 1st round pick, no one on the current roster is untradeable.

No, players like Danielle Hunter are the future of the franchise, trading him would be short sighted.
