Weekend Eve Open Thread

Good Morning!

I’m back on service for the next six days, we’ve all seen what I think about my employer’s recent decision, if you’re not sure what I’m talking about peak under one of the spoiler tags I’ve thrown out in the last couple of days. I was reading the thread yesterday, and yes “all those flavors, I chose to be salty.” To no one’s shock, Gary Kubiak has become the offensive coordinator, my suspicion is that we’ll see extensions of our GM and HC soon, but they’ll have a short leash. Meanwhile, let’s carry on with our news and links open thread full of beer recommendations, nap strategies, crock pot and smoker recipes. Drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and since it’s the offseason time to drop those mock drafts so all of us can mock you.

We come to today’s media selection: Rumjacks - The Pot & Kettle

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waiter but watch for him he’s a little salty recently, and Welcome Aboard!

Poll

Do you think the promotion of Gary Kubiak to offensive coordinator is going to prove successful? (more than one playoff win next season)

Yes, having essentially the same offensive coordinator for successive years will provide continuity and success for the offense.

No, with the limitations of the current cap crunch and offensive line having essentially the same offensive won’t prove more successful.
