UPDATE: Given a few technical issues and the lack of comments thus far, we’re just going to stick with one thread for tonight’s game. So keep it here all night and we’ll see you for the recap.
Well, folks, it’s prime time for the Minnesota Vikings, as they get ready to take on the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday Night Football from an empty CenturyLink Field. Here’s everything you need to know about today’s game.
Date and Time: Sunday, 11 October, 2020, 7:20 PM Central time
Location: CenturyLink Field, Seattle, Washington
Television Coverage: NBC from coast-to-coast
Radio Coverage: Vikings Radio Network, Sirius Channel 81/88, XM Channel 88/226, SiriusXM App Channel 820
Line: Vikings +6.5, Over/Under 54.5
Chris’ Prediction: Seahawks 34, Vikings 31
Three keys
1) Try to keep Russell Wilson contained - Wilson might be playing better than any quarterback in the NFL right now, and he’s going to be making plays all night. The Vikings just have to try to keep the damage to a minimum.
2) Take advantage of a bad defense - The Seahawks’ pass defense is awful. They’re dead last in the league, and they’re without their top player in Jamal Adams. Kirk Cousins, Adam Thielen, and Justin Jefferson (among others) need to be able to take advantage of that if this team wants to have any chance.
3) Let Dalvin Cook - The NFL’s leading rusher (going into today’s game) has been spectacular so far this season, and he will have to be again tonight in order to keep the Vikings in this one and the offense balanced.
