The final injury reports are in for both the Minnesota Vikings and the Atlanta Falcons leading up to Sunday’s game at U.S. Bank Stadium, and there are a number of developments for our favorite team involved with that. First, however, we’ll take a look at the visiting team’s injury report.
Atlanta Falcons Week 6 Injury Report
Only two players declared out for the Falcons for this Sunday, but they did have a host of players that were limited in practice all week. Julio Jones did not receive an injury designation despite missing two days of practice and only being limited on Friday, but it appears that the Falcons will have him active. Of course, he could be a game-time decision, but he’s the biggest name on the Falcons’ injury report.
And now, on to the home team.
Minnesota Vikings Week 6 Injury Report
Dalvin Cook will be sitting this one out, as expected, giving him two weeks to rest his injured groin with the bye coming up in Week 7. It also appears that the Vikings will have another change at right guard. Pat Elflein is still out and, as you can see, Dru Samia has already been declared out for Sunday with a wrist injury. This, reportedly, has opened the door for rookie Ezra Cleveland to get his first NFL start on the same day that his former Boise State teammate, Alexander Mattison, will get his first start in the NFL replacing Cook.
Those are your final injury reports for this Sunday’s game, folks. We’ll have more on this one as we get closer to kickoff.
