Let’s get it started!

We are now just under an hour from kickoff at Lambeau Field, as your Minnesota Vikings take to the road to battle the Green Bay Packers in NFC North action. Here’s everything you need to know about today’s game.

Date and Time: Sunday, 1 November, 2020, noon Central time

Location: Lambeau Field, Green Bay, Wisconsin

Television Coverage: KSTP-9 in the Twin Cities, FOX affiliates around the country, DirecTV Channel 711

Radio Coverage: Vikings Radio Network, Sirius Channel 82, XM Channel 383, SiriusXM App Ch 820

Line: Vikings +6, Over/Under 50

Chris’ Prediction: Packers 41, Vikings 27

Three Keys

1) Score a touchdown on every possession - No, seriously. . .if the Vikings literally don’t score a touchdown on every possession this game, they’re very likely going to lose. Why? Because the defense can’t stop anyone, that’s why.

2) Stop turning the damn ball over - You know what makes it more difficult to score? Stupid interceptions and fumbles, that’s what. That means you, Kirk Cousins. Throw it to your teammates rather than the other team, and everyone else hold on to the ball once you get your hands on it.

3) Do something against Davante Adams for once - The Packers have one wide receiver that’s actually any good, and he still manages to go crazy every time these two teams play. The Vikings’ defense should attempt to do something about that.

We’ll have our Open Threads up and running at the start of each quarter, so keep your eyes open for those.

As you can probably tell from my final score prediction, I’m not expecting a hell of a lot from the purple in this one. Quite frankly, I’m not sure if they’ve given anyone a hell of a lot of reason to expect a hell of a lot of anything. Could I be wrong? Sure, and hopefully I am. But, for now, let’s just sit back and hope that things don’t get too incredibly ugly in this one.
