Good Morning, It’s Thorsday!

Today’s music selection is inspired by the weather where I live; we’re playing the hurricane tropical storm game as Etta passes through, I’d expect the usual rain and wind. I didn’t think we’d be talking about a potential playoff berth this year for the Vikings, but with a win this week in Chicago the Vikings can work their way into a playoff chase. I’m back on service for the next seven days so the words and links up here my get shortened. Meanwhile we’ll carry on with our news and links full of crockpot recipes, nap strategies and beer recommendations; drop by for some fan wisdom, snark and it’s Thorsday - I was informed this is cultural appropriation, but I’m not smart and still don’t know what that means.

Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:
-No discussion of politics or religion
-No feeding of the trolls
-Leave the gender hatred at the door
-Keep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)
-Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tags
-No pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employer
-If you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go away
-While navigating the open thread, just assume it’s sarcasm.
With that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up & tie one on. Don’t forget to wash your hands, wear a mask and Welcome Aboard!
