After getting off to a rough 1-5 start, your Minnesota Vikings have a chance to get back to even in Week 11, as they start off a three-game homestand by hosting the Dallas Cowboys at U.S. Bank Stadium.
The Vikings have reeled off three consecutive wins over NFC North opponents, culminating in their 19-13 victory over the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field on Monday Night Football. If they can win on Sunday against Dallas, they’ll be back to 5-5 after the 2020 season appeared that it may have been lost.
Things have been pretty rough for the Cowboys, too. After losing quarterback Dak Prescott to a dislocated ankle, Dallas has been playing quarterback roulette, though it appears that Andy Dalton is on track to start on Sunday after dealing with the effects of a concussion for a few weeks.
These two teams met in prime time last season, as the Vikings held off the Cowboys for a 28-24 victory on Sunday Night Football. For this week’s game, the Vikings will be pulling out their “Primetime Purple” uniforms. . .aka their “Color Rush” jerseys. . .which made their debut in a Thursday night game against Dallas back in 2016.
It’s important to note that this game will be a part of the late window in Week 11, with kickoff scheduled for 3:25 PM Central time on FOX.
