That was close

Tomorrow, on the final Sunday before this year’s Thanksgiving celebrations, the Minnesota Vikings will be bringing Ham to the table.

The team has announced that they have activated fullback C.J. Ham from their reserve/COVID-19 list, ensuring that the Pro Bowler will be on the roster tomorrow when the Vikings host the Dallas Cowboys at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Ham was placed on the COVID-19 list on Thursday, as he had been in close contact with someone that had tested positive for the virus. He did not actually test positive for it himself, so he was able to come back after a series of negative tests.

The Vikings were giving practice squad fullback Jake Bargas the first-team snaps with Ham being absent, but it does not appear that his services will be needed on Sunday after all.

With Ham’s re-activation, the Vikings once again have no players on their reserve/COVID-19 list. Hopefully this will continue for the team going forward.
