We are just a few hours away from kickoff at U.S. Bank Stadium, as your Minnesota Vikings begin a three-game homestand in the hopes of getting back to .500 as they take on the Dallas Cowboys. We want everyone to be able to follow along with all of the action from this one, so here’s everything you need to know.

Television Info

This week, the Vikings are actually a part of the late Sunday afternoon window, meaning that they will not get the coveted noon Central time kickoff, but rather will kick things off at approximately 3:25 PM Central today. This game will be shown on FOX, which is KSTP-9 in the Twin Cities, and the play-by-play will be handled by Kenny Albert and Cheatin’ Ass Jonathan Vilma.

If you’re unsure as to whether or not you are in the local broadcast area for this week’s contest, here is the map for this week’s game from the good folks at 506 Sports. The Cowboys/Vikings game is represented by the blue area.

If you’re going to be using the DirecTV NFL Sunday Ticket package for this week’s contest, you’ll want to point your receiver to Channel 715.

For our men and women in uniform overseas, this game will be shown LIVE on the American Forces Network, specifically on AFN Sports 2. Coverage of this one will start at 2100Z, which equates to 2200L for everyone in Central Europe, 0130L on Monday morning for fans in Afghanistan, and 0600L on Monday morning for viewers in Japan and Korea.

Radio Info

Once again, the Vikings Radio Network and all of its affiliates will be bringing you live broadcasts of every Vikings game for 2020. If you’re traveling around an area where there’s an affiliate or you just prefer the radio to the television, check out their site and find the affiliate in your area.

For those with satellite radio, you can find the Vikings feed for this contest on either Sirius Channel 83 or XM Channel 225. If you’re using the SiriusXM app, the Vikings’ permanent home there can be found on Channel 820.

Referee Info

According to the folks at Football Zebras, the officiating crew for this one will be led by Bill Vinovich. This will be the second time this season that the Vikings have seen Vinovich, and hopefully the results will be better. Vinovich’s crew handled the season opener at U.S. Bank Stadium, a 43-34 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Weather Info

With this game being inside, the weather won’t have any effect on things. But, according to our friends at WeatherNation, it wouldn’t have been a terrible day for it. Temperatures at kickoff are set to be right around 40 degrees with winds out of the northwest at 10-15 miles an hour.

Streaming Info

Since this is a FOX game, there aren’t any legal streaming options on their site or anything for this one. I believe a lot of the cord-cutting services offer some sort of streaming option, and there’s always NFL GamePass if you don’t have any of those. Heck, you can even get Sunday Ticket on your PlayStation or XBox, if nothing else.

In the spirit of the legendary Bob Casey, there will be no illegal streams here on the Daily Norseman. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO illegal streams here on the Daily Norseman. Promoting such things is grounds for an immediate and permanent ban. Don’t be one of those troll accounts that we get here every so often that we ban across the entire platform.

That should be all of the relevant information you need to follow all of the action from U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday afternoon between the Minnesota Vikings and the Dallas Cowboys. As always, the Game Threads will start flowing approximately an hour before kickoff, so we hope to see you here then.
