Vikings interim injury report: No changes for Minnesota

But a couple for Detroit

NFL: Atlanta Falcons at Minnesota Vikings Jeffrey Becker-USA TODAY Sports

The second injury reports of the week for the Detroit Lions and your Minnesota Vikings have been released, so let’s take a look at the situation for both teams.

We’ll start with the visiting team, as we generally do, and the Lions have only made a couple of changes from yesterday.

Did Not Participate

  • RB Jamal Agnew (ribs)
  • G Joe Dahl (back, downgrade from LP on Wednesday)
  • WR Kenny Golladay (hip)
  • DB Tracy Walker (foot)

Limited Participation

  • OT Taylor Decker (back, upgrade from DNP on Wednesday)
  • LB Christian Jones (knee)
  • CB Daryl Roberts (hip/groin)
  • DT Danny Shelton (wrist)
  • CB Desmond Trufant (hamstring)
  • OT Halapoulivaati Vaitai (foot, upgrade from DNP on Wednesday)

Full Participation

  • TE T.J. Hockenson (toe, upgrade from LP on Wednesday)

It looks like some of the walking wounded for the Lions are trending the right direction, with the exception of Dahl. Golladay continues to miss practice, and given that there was talk of the Lions placing him on IR in the near future, it would be a surprise if he wasn’t declared out when the final injury reports come out tomorrow.

The home team, on the other hand, made no changes to yesterday’s injury report.

Did Not Participate

  • CB Cameron Dantzler (concussion)
  • CB Mark Fields II (chest)
  • CB Holton Hill (foot)

Limited Participation

  • WR Dan Chisena (hip)
  • CB Harrison Hand (hamstring)

Full Participation

The cornerback situation continues to be messy, as it has been (seemingly) for most of the year. It’s not looking good for the players that haven’t practiced yet this week, though it will be interesting to see if Dantzler’s status changes before tomorrow’s final report comes out.

When we get the final reports, we will bring them to you here.
