The final injury reports are out for Sunday’s contest in Tampa between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and your Minnesota Vikings. There are a couple of pretty significant issues on the report this week for the purple, and we’ll start with their outlook.
Minnesota Vikings Week 14 Injury Report
Player | Position | Injury | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday | Sunday Status |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Player | Position | Injury | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday | Sunday Status |
Eric Kendricks | LB | Calf | DNP | DNP | DNP | Out |
Alexander Mattison | RB | Illness | DNP | DNP | DNP | Out |
Kyle Rudolph | TE | Foot | DNP | DNP | DNP | Doubtful |
Irv Smith Jr. | TE | Back | DNP | LP | LP | Questionable |
Chad Beebe | WR | Non-injury | -- | -- | DNP | -- |
Garrett Bradbury | C | Abdomen | LP | LP | FP | -- |
Ezra Cleveland | G | Ankle | LP | LP | FP | -- |
Jeff Gladney | CB | Calf | LP | LP | FP | -- |
Brett Jones | OL | Neck | FP | FP | FP | -- |
Riley Reiff | OT | Ankle | LP | LP | FP | -- |
D.J. Wonnum | DE | Ankle/Back | LP | LP | FP | -- |
As you can see, the Vikings have already ruled star linebacker Eric Kendricks out because of the calf injury that caused him to miss last week’s win over Jacksonville. This is obviously pretty huge given just how much Kendricks means to this Vikings’ defense.
Also, this could be the first time since November of 2014 that Kyle Rudolph doesn’t suit up for Minnesota. He’s started 93 consecutive games, by far the highest among tight ends in the NFL (Jason Kelce of the Chiefs is currently second with 44). With Rudolph out and Irv Smith Jr. listed as questionable, the Vikings have just two healthy tight ends on the roster: Tyler Conklin and newly-signed Hale Hentges.
Now, on to the home team.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers Week 14 Injury Report

Player | Position | Injury | Wednesday | Thursday | Friday | Sunday Status |
Jamel Dean | CB | Groin | DNP | DNP | LP | Doubtful |
Lavonte David | LB | Non-Injury | DNP | FP | FP | -- |
Mike Evans | WR | Hamstring | LP | DNP | FP | -- |
Chris Godwin | WR | Finger | DNP | FP | FP | -- |
Rob Gronkowski | TE | Non-Injury | -- | DNP | FP | -- |
Steve McLendon | DT | Elbow | DNP | LP | FP | -- |
Jason Pierre-Paul | LB | Knee | LP | LP | DNP | -- |
Donovan Smith | OT | Ankle | LP | LP | FP | -- |
Ndamukong Suh | DT | Non-Injury | -- | -- | DNP | -- |
The Bucs come into this one significantly healthier than Minnesota. They’ve only given one player an injury designation and haven’t ruled anybody out. Mike Evans was a full participant at practice, as was Chris Godwin, so it appears that Tom Brady will have his full complement of weapons when these teams face off on Sunday.
Those are your final injury reports for the week, folks. We’ll have more coverage of this one as we get closer to kickoff.
